Head Harbour Light, Campobello Island
Acadia and Beyond is a collection of images from Mount Desert Island to Lubec, the easternmost town in the contiguous United States. Further east, is the Franklin Delano Bridge which connects Lubec with Campobello Island in the Canadian province of New Brunswick.
Mount Desert Island is the largest island off the coast of Maine and the second largest island in the eastern seaboard after Long Island. It is home to majestic Acadia National Park, Bass Harbor Light, Bar Harbor and many working harbors.
Meandering east from MDI to Lubec along US 1 there are plenty of opportunities to take in spectacular coastal views and feast on Lobster!
